Happy Friendship Day!!!
“Today was a difficult day”, said Pooh.
There was a pause.
“Do you want to talk about it?”, asked Piglet
“No, I don’t think so”, said Pooh
“That’s ok”, said piglet and he came and sat beside his friend
“What are you doing”, asked Pooh
“Nothing really,” said Piglet. “Only, I know what difficult days are like; I quite often myself don’t feel like talking about it on my difficult days either”
“But goodness”,continued Piglet, “difficult days are so much more easier when you know you have got someone there for you. And, I will always be there for you, Pooh”
And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his difficult day, while solid,reliable Piglet sat next to him, quietly swinging his little legs…he thought that his best friend had never been more right.
God comes to us in various forms and friends are God’s way of taking care of us.If you have friends like Piglet in your life, you are blessed to have friendships higher than the sky and deeper than the infinity of the ocean. Such true friends are with you in the sun & in the darkness,in good times & in difficult times, in thick and thin and are inseparable from your heart every moment of life as they make the journey of this life beautifully divine.They are by your side and encourage you to conquer the world and they are by your side to share the pain when failures hit you. When you are broken, they are with you to rebuild those broken pieces inside you. When you lose the way, they get you back on track.They are with you in happiness & in sadness, in rains and in sunny days. Seasons come and go but true friendships are forever. But there will also be some friends in your life who enter your life like a season and go away when their role as defined by God in your life is over. There will also be some who came as lessons in your life to teach you & give you answers to life’s biggest questions and once you learnt they vanished. And there are those who will remain with you forever as God made them in His image to take care of you for life. Be grateful for all the friendships – those who remain with you for life and even those who came in your life like seasons and lessons. Accept all of them as God’s blessings as each one plays a role to make a better version of you on this planet. Don’t get attached, don’t get possessive, don’t have unreasonable expectations, don’t expect closures, never take them for granted – just be eternally grateful, just experience, enjoy and cherish beautiful moments with each of your friends and bask in the divine unconditional love from God sent to you in the form of each of your friends at every stage of their existence in your life. Friends are blessings from God and God gave you the freedom to choose them as your family to make this journey of life beautiful. Find your tribe and love them hard!!!
